Terms of Service

This site is operated by Mr. Tropical ® (“Mr. Tropical,” “we,” “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the site, our products, subscriptions, rewards program, and any related services (together, the “Service”).

By using the Service or placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, our Shipping Policy, and our Returns & Refund Policy, each incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to purchase from us.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted, and the effective date above will be updated. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

• All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude taxes and shipping unless stated otherwise. Free standard shipping applies to qualifying U.S. orders of $55 or more.
• Volume pricing, bundle pricing, and promotional discounts are applied at checkout. Discounts generally do not stack unless we say so explicitly.
• We handcraft in small batches, so color, scent intensity, and weight can vary slightly from bar to bar and from the photos shown.
• We may correct pricing or description errors, and may limit, cancel, or refuse any order — including orders that appear to be for resale. If we cancel a paid order, we refund it in full.

Products sold on mrtropicalsoap.com are for purchase by end users only — an individual or business buying for their own personal or internal use, or as a gift. They are not sold for resale, re-marketing, or distribution. By placing an order you confirm your purchase is for end-user enjoyment.

Because of this, you may not order quantities beyond what an end user would reasonably buy, and we may refuse or cancel orders that appear to circumvent this policy. Any violation voids our 30-day scent-match promise for those products and may result in closing your account and blocking future purchases.

We do not accept returns on any order. If a scent isn't right for you, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll take your claim into consideration and work with you to find a scent you love.

Retailers and businesses we have explicitly authorized for wholesale are excluded from this section — contact us if you want to carry Mr. Tropical.

Checkout and payment are processed by Shopify and its payment partners. Placing an order is an offer to buy; the contract forms when we confirm and ship. You agree that the billing information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method.

Buy-now-pay-later options such as Shop Pay Installments are provided by third parties on their own terms and eligibility rules; we are not a lender.

• Subscribing authorizes recurring charges to your payment method at the interval you select until you cancel.
• You can skip, reschedule, change, or cancel any renewal from your account before it processes. There are no cancellation fees.
• Subscription prices reflect the subscription discount in effect at the time of each renewal; we will give notice before any price change.
• Renewals that have already shipped fall under the same 30-day scent-match review. We do not accept returns.

Points and rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may expire or be adjusted under the program rules. We may modify or end the program at any time. Points earned on an order may be reversed if that order is refunded, and we may void points or reward codes obtained through fraud or abuse.

Shipping. Orders normally leave our Florida workshop within 1–2 business days and ship via USPS or UPS. Free standard shipping applies to U.S. orders of $55 or more; below that, rates are calculated at checkout. Delivery estimates are not guarantees, and carrier delays, weather, and peak season can add time. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

Our scent-match promise. Scent is personal, and our products aren't meant for everyone. If we're not a great match, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll review your claim. We do not accept returns, but we will work with you to find a scent you love.

What's excluded. Requests made more than 30 days after delivery, bars that are mostly used up, gift cards, and original shipping charges. Orders bought from other retailers, such as Amazon, follow that retailer's own process. The scent-match promise is also void for purchases that violate the purchaser agreement above. If you submit a review, photo, comment, or other content, you confirm it is your own honest experience and does not infringe anyone's rights. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, and adapt that content to promote the Service. We may moderate, edit for length, or remove content that is unlawful, abusive, spammy, or off-topic.

The Mr. Tropical name and logo, our product and scent names, photography, copy, and site design are owned by us or our licensors. You may view and share the site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, frame, resell, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.

• Do not break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the Service.
• Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-harvest the site or its data.
• Do not interfere with, probe, or attempt to bypass the security of the Service or its providers.
• Do not submit false, misleading, or automated reviews or sign-ups.

Our soaps are cosmetic products for external use only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Ingredient lists are published on each product page — please review them if you have allergies or sensitive skin, patch test before full use, keep out of eyes, and discontinue use if irritation occurs. Consult a medical professional with any skin concerns.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the order giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mr. Tropical and its owners and staff from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

We rely on third parties including Shopify (storefront, checkout, and payments), shipping carriers, our rewards platform, email and analytics providers. Their handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to that venue.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for any reason. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
